## An Amazing Day Out in Shropshire

**A beautiful walk through the Shropshire Hills**

This walk is a must for anyone who loves the outdoors. The Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers some of the most stunning scenery in the country, and this long march takes you right through the heart of it.

### Route Details

*   **Distance:** Approximately 20 miles
*   **Difficulty:** Challenging
*   **Terrain:** Varied, including hills, valleys, and open countryside.
*   **Start Point:** Church Stretton
*   **End Point:** Ludlow

### What to Expect

You'll be treated to breathtaking views of rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and charming villages. The route is well-marked for the most part, but carrying a map and compass is still advisable. Be prepared for some steep climbs, but the rewards are well worth the effort.

*   **Cost:** £25 per person (includes packed lunch and medal)
*   **What to bring:** Sturdy walking boots, waterproof clothing, plenty of water, snacks, a map, and a compass.
